"Highlights of the Cosmos' 2-1 shootout win over the Washington Diplomats in a North American Soccer League match on June 1, 1980 in front of a crowd of 53,351 at RFK Stadium in Washington, DC."

Huge crowd at RFK Stadium in Washington to watch NASL soccer. Washington is a great, big, sports town and market for great sports teams and events. And RFK Stadium is about as great an atmosphere as you'll find for football, soccer, and even baseball, because it seats around 55,000 for football and soccer, but the fans are so close to the action, even in the upper deck and end zones, that you feel like, especially if you are the road team, that you are playing in front of 80, 90, or 100 thousand fans, when there's a big crowd and the home team is in the game. And then you have the porch on top of the stadium that keeps all the sound in the game and lower deck seats that literally move when fans are jumping. Great place to watch a big game.
